Evernote is a a great tool for your law practice.

Evernote just released a new version of their client software and here are some of our favorite new features:

Share notes on LinkedIn – Evernote client software already had the ability to post a note to Twitter and Facebook. Now it also have ability to share notes with your LinkedIn colleagues. You can access the LinkedIn integration by clicking on the sharing arrow in the note panel.

Checklists – Evernote has a checklist option in the tool bar. However, you had to insert checkboxes line by line. Not any more. With new Evernote you can highlight the entire list and checkboxes will be inserted at the beginning of each list item. This is a great improvements for heavy checklist users.

Switch between accounts – In case that you have multiple premium accounts, you can now switch between them. For example, you switch from work and personal accounts by click "Switch Account" options in the menu.

Tag column – Evernote is organized into Notebooks (folders), Notes (files) and Tags (index or subfolders). Along with a list of notebooks, you can now view a list of your tags in the left column. Handy.

Strikethrough – A sentence or to-do list item no longer relevant but you want to save for future reference? You can now use the new keyboard shortcut for strikethrough: CMD+CTRL+K

And even though Evernote is great we strongly suggest using cloudHQ to replicate all evernote notes to some other cloud system such as Dropbox:
