Online Backup And File-Sharing For Lawyers

Picture
Lawyers are increasingly using cloud services in their everyday work life and practice. Tablets in the courtroom are becoming a more common sight. The cloud service benefits are just too great to ignore. The ease of file-sharing from any of your computers, laptops or mobile devices is just one of the many benefits. Other benefits include lower-priced storage costs, reduction (or complete elimination) of office space, reduction or elimination of maintenance costs, accessibility and high availability.

Cloud file-sharing

There are many different cloud services that are great for file-sharing. Dropbox is the easiest and most efficient, but others include Box, Google Drive, SkyDrive, etc. Dropbox has simple drag-and-drop interface that allows users to simply drag files into a Dropbox folder and it is instantly shared with whoever the user has shared that folder with. So if the need arises to send a document to a client for review or signing, it can simply be dropped into a shared Dropbox folder and the file will instantly appear on the client's computer or device. If collaboration over the file is needed, Google Drive is the best choice for collaborating over files

Cloud backup

Protection against data loss is always a concern. What if you accidentally delete a file? What if a hacker maliciously deletes some files? What if Dropbox mistakenly accuses you of violating their ToS and deletes your account? What if that employee you reprimanded or fired decides to get even and deletes data because you forgot to revoke his access to the Dropbox account?

There are many reason why you need a cloud backup service like cloudHQ. You get full protection from all the scenarios listed above and more. CloudHQ works by creating a secondary cloud account, and backs up all your files to this account, so you will always have high availability of your data, and complete backup in case a data loss instance was to occur.
