The use of cloud tools in creating an online office is no longer a new idea. Today, many lawyers have made mobile phone apps and online websites their go-to tools for the operation of their firm. In the process, some have found that there are certain options that are most preferable.

The following tools are the ones that lawyers love the most:

This is exactly what cloudHQ does. MyFax / Efax / HelloFax

Lawyers no longer need bulky fax machines in order to send and receive documents in real time. There is now a technology available to them online that can handle the job faxes did before. The use of Fujitsu Scansnap scanner, along with the online fax services above, totally eliminates the need for a dedicated machine. This goes far in helping lawyers streamline their online workflow and create a paperless office.

Skype is an all-in-one tool for both free and low priced online communication. The call quality is excellent and the features are many. This allows law use to engage in videoconference, instant messaging, file sharing, screen sharing, and more.

Great post! In particular, it's great that you've brought to light the importance that Evernote plays for so many lawyers. There's tons of functionality that exist for lawyers such as project planning, research, note taking, leveraging Sktich at accident scenes, tasks, contact information, and then tying in copy note linking to centralize the notes together in one master note. The list goes on and I'm excited to see another lawyer bring it to the forefront. Well done!

For attorneys that are in the courtroom frequently, you may want to consider iJurorConnect.com to this list.

iJurorConnect.com is the cloud based counterpart to our popular iJuror iPad app.

iJurorConnect.com is a bit more specific than some of these sites that are mentioned but for trial attorneys it may be worth it to try the free 30 day trial.
